Appliances, Computers & Electronics

Acopian, Easton, PA
Long time manufacturer of AC/DC Power Supplies.

Xi3, Salt Lake City, UT
I visited this company’s booth at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this year. These beautifully designed modular computers are designed and manufactured in the USA. They are perfect for small spaces, such as digital signage, kiosks and much, much more. They are also customizable and upgradable, which can be difficult to find in a compact PC. Here are a few photos I took at CES…

No, all their cables are not made in the USA, but they have a fair amount that are and they are damn proud of it.  Pretty good selection of SCSI and Fiber Optic cables made or assembled in the USA.

Franklin Instrument Company, Warminster, PA
Complete range of clocks and time systems.  I emailed this company and asked if their products were completely US made.  They told me they are currently trying to convert all their components to Made In USA components.  Right now some of their components come from the USA, France, Germany and China.  All clocks are assembled in their Warminster, PA plant.

Jiffy Steamer, Union City, TN
Jiffy Steamer’s have been Made in the USA since 1940.  I just ordered the J-2 for myself.  #1 because I once saw a lady in Macy’s steaming new clothes out of the box and hanging them out for display and always thought, how cool if I could have one of those, because ironing is one my pet peeves.  #2 because I have drapes that need to be ironed and figured a steamer would be the way to go.  After a Google search on steamers I came across Jiffy.  As the world’s oldest and largest manufacturer of steaming equipment, they manufacture over 16 models with only the finest industrial components. According to Jiffy, customers throughout the world enjoy the ease of use, simplicity of the process, and the omission of the ironing board. Steaming is up to five times faster than ironing, yeah!!!
